YOUR CONSCIOUS CLEANERS

Your Conscious Cleaner's is located in San Diego, CA and their mission is to transform homes into a sanctuary by providing upscale, eco-friendly, holistic cleaning services and products that support their well-being and the environment.

 

I was hired as a solo freelancer utilizing my copywriting, art direction, graphic design, marketing and UX/UI skills to revamp the company branding and booking processes. I tackled a new logo, branding guidelines, and revised their website to better attract high-end clients and improve SEO for their site. Above all, they were also looking to streamline their booking process and internal scheduling systems.

After 7 years, Your Conscious Cleaners wanted to refresh their branding and elevate the overall feel of the company. They were looking to attract a different market that would allow them to clean larger homes in nice areas of San Diego. Along side, they wanted to modernize the look of their brand to better compete against other cleaning agencies and stand out from the crowd.

 

I first redesigned the logo. Here is a look at the process:

I wanted to make sure we showcased their vision of merging the cleaning and holistic industry. Not only are they coming in to clean your home physically, but they are cleansing your space spiritually as well.  

During their cleansing process they utilize different elements like water, air and fire to release unwanted energy. Geometric shapes and the holistic touch was where I gave focus.

Simple line work gave it a more modern and sophisticated feel and allowed me to incorporate an uplifting feel.

After a few rounds of sketches and tweaks, we finalized the logo:

Once the logo was established, I created a brand new style guide that helped us carry the look and feel through the rest of their company assets. I rewrote the mission and vision statements to better reflect the company.

Website Redesign

Due to the branding update, we did a major overhaul to redesign the website to better reflect the new direction while optimizing it for SEO. I tackled all of the copywriting, established the organization and content for the new website. I also sketched, wireframed, and designed all of their new pages - creating a more comprehensive and SEO friendly website.

Booking and Scheduling System

One of the largest problems they were facing was their complicated booking and scheduling processes. They were taking individual calls quoting each client based on their specific needs and manually tracking all scheduling, payments and notes. I wanted to make sure the website was not only clear and drove people to their call to action, but also provided an easy way for people to book a cleaning service. This was critical to helping them scale their business and streamline their processes. 

 

After researching many software companies, I set them up on a system I thought would fit best. This allowed their prospects and clients to book/pay online, schedule their cleaning service, assign cleaners, notify clients about their service and collect reviews.

Together, we established a package system that broke down their core services and would calculate the price based on the client's home size and cleaning needs.

After selecting the type of package, you are sent to a questionnaire that calculates your total cost.

SCHEDULING

After completing the questionnaire, clients are directed to schedule their cleaning service.

SERVICE FREQUENCY WITH ADDED PROMOTION

For business growth and customer retention, I suggested that they set up recurring cleaning services for their clients and provide a discount for those that select that option. This entices clients to continue to use their services and grow their loyalty with the company, while providing Your Conscious Cleaner's with secure income.

PAYMENT

Easy enough, a client could enter they payment option right on the platform, and they were all set to go.

CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION

Now that the client has scheduled their cleaning service(s), I set up client communication emails and texts that they will receive before, during, and after their service. All of the communication is automated. These are some examples:

In addition, we set up employee communication emails and texts that they receive when a new job is assigned to them or if there are any changes with their job. These are some examples:

GROWING PERFORMANCE

After the launch, we've seen an increase in website traffic, bookings, more people inclined to purchase multiple cleanings, and bookings coming from google search. There's been positive feedback on the customer communication, as well as reviews about the company.
